3 easy steps towards becoming a Map My Mole service provider

By becoming a service provider, we give you the tools to deliver expert assessed mole reviews to your patients.

Download the app and signup

Register for an account on the Map My Mole app. We’ll review your application, and if approved, you’ll pay a one-time setup fee, which includes a DE-300 dermatoscope. If you already own a dermatoscope, you can skip the lens purchase and just pay a small set up fee for your account.

Carry out test submissions in training mode

Whilst in training mode, the app will guide you through the process of making test submissions and we’ll provide feedback on image quality only. Please note test submissions are not reviewed by a consultant dermatologist. After successfully completing these, you’ll be able to offer the service to patients.

You launch your own mole screening service

You’ll be able to order free point of sale materials through the app. We give you the flexibility to market your mole review service as you wish.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide any marketing materials?
Yes, we provide access to designed assets you can use on social media, you'll also be able to order free physical marketing materials from within the app.
What happens if the report finds a suspicious mole/lesion?
If a consultant reports the mole is of concern, they will ask the patient to see their GP or a dermatologist. A mole of concern will also trigger a call back for our team, this means we will telephone the patient, to check they have read and understood the report and they know to see a GP/dermatologist.
Can my patient use the report to take to their GP?
Yes, when asking for a referral appointment, inform your GP that the lesion has been assessed and you have a report from a UK consultant dermatologist.
Will my clinic be on the Clinic Locator Map on your website?
Yes, if you opt-in during sign up, your site will be added once you are transacting on the app.
