Community Dermatology is committed to making its mobile application, Map My Mole, accessible in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. This accessibility statement applies to the Map My Mole mobile application (Version1.19.0 - 1 December 2025).
The Map My Mole mobile app has been developed to include a range of features to enhance accessibility, for example:
● Users have the flexibility to increase text size
● The text within the application is intended to be compatible with screen readers
● The user interface components and text have a high contrast level
● The descriptive and instructional text within the application has been written to achieve a Flesch Reading Ease score of above 60
● Videos containing voice audio have captions
Compliance status
The Map My Mole mobile application is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliance listed below:
● The screen is locked to a single orientation
