Map My Mole is a fast, digital mole checking service that helps spot early signs of skin cancer. As a pharmacy, you simply capture images using a smartphone and dermatoscope - all clinical review is done by UK consultant dermatologists, with results back in 24–48 hours.
Mole-checks are in-demand service. According to NHS England, Skin lesion checks are up 9% YoY. By offering, mole-checking services, pharmacies are helping patients access fast, expert mole checks in their community – whilst benefiting from a new revenue stream. The NPA represents over two-thirds of the sector, including 3,000 member organisations and over 6,000 branches, supporting members to identify trusted partners in pharmacy service delivery.
Covered by NPA’s Professional Indemnity Policy, NPA Members can access the Map My Mole Service by downloading the Map My Mole App, using their unique members code at sign-up for discounted onboarding, before ordering their included dermatoscope and point of sale marketing materials in the app, completing the in-app training and launching their service.
